The New Story Part 7: Being Present

I love this clip of Brian…. I don’t know who said first “the natural depth of us is the whole of creation”, maybe Teilhard de Chardin, but it is so true in such an obvious way…. I suppose it is time that helps us to compartmentalize and separate our experience, but I love thinking of the energy ‘that was just a little while ago the sun’ being collected in the wheat and then transposed into the movement in my muscles…..the in-forms my own intention.  this is as profound a miracle as I can imagine.  


I read this quote by Jung in Buddhacious’ blog the other day: About the special mode of the human with our meta-conscious ability to reflect on consciousness itself” “…the second creator of the world, who alone has given to the world its objective existence—without which, unheard, unseen, silently eating, giving birth, dying, heads nodding through hundreds of millions of years, it would have gone on in the profoundest night of non-being down to its unknown end,” ……. 


In this very real sense, in the evolution of consciousness, “I am”, ‘we are’ the event horizon, the newest thing there is…..the happening at the edge of the moment, beyond which we cannot see….. like traveling on Einstein’s beam of light.  It is an adventure, a holy roller amazing adventure…..
