Hey everyone - I am finally getting around to an epic project: Three posts over the next month on The Matrix Trilogy!
Think you already know the deal with these movies? Think the first one rocked and the second two sucked? Think the central theme is about how we create our own reality and mind over matter wins the day?
These movies are very much misunderstood and have a great deal more depth than we can realize without multiple viewings and research into the richly layered references....
The 10 DVD set has many wonderful documentaries and an amazing commentary by Ken WIlber and Cornell West that covers all three films....
Stay tuned for my next big project. I plan to post part one tomrorrow!

;)
(*waits in eager anticipation*)
ah hahahaha! thanks big D!
I second that emotion…Delia’s, that is…bring it on!
and on it shall be brung - delia you may have been searching for morpheus for the last few years - but he has been searching for you his entire life!
barry - you are The One - do you believe yet?
YogiJ, ask me that after I read all 3 of your commentaries…until then I may be stuck in the matrix of thinking the first one was great and the other two sucked (notwitstanding M Bellucci’s contributions).
the second and third movies may not be as satisfying as the first - but the content only gets richer and deeper - wether or not that content can be succesfully conveyed to an audience watching one time in a theater or at home is of course up for debate…
