Hi Everyone - I just found the transcript of this really interesting interview in which WIlber is talking about shadow-work - which as most of you know is one of the three key elements i am trying to highlight in my work - along with critical thinking and inquiry-based practice...
Check it out here - it's really quite good!
Here's my article introducing Jungian thereapist and author Connie Zweig's body of shadow-work.
Here's my piece called The Four Initiations that touches on shadow-work in the context of Open Sky Healing Arts and here's an article of mine called Shadow and Light that explores the role of psychological work in 21st Century Spirituality.

Julian,
I liked that piece, put a little more flesh on the bones. I think one of Ken's shortcomings (certainly not his brain) would be his reliance on talking and explaining about these concepts, without offering much in the way of a story to illustrate.
We both know that dealing with shadow is very much key to coming to that place of 'know thyself'. But its fine to talk about when you have already walked much of the way there. The point is we need to help the others with better illustrations.
Do you think you have one you could share?
I will too for comparison. Deal?
Its part of our responsibility in the heroes journey - the return… n'est pas?

Shadow work needs a greater framework of its machinery, and the integrative process - for those newly interested. How does it work? What will it feel like? Will I change? In what way?

Hey, Julian. Your blog remains the best on Zaadz, that I know of.
The link to Ken's interview didn't come through. It goes somewhere else. I haven't gotten to the rest yet. But it's quite an interesting subject, shadowwork, and I can't say I really have a handle on it yet. But it's just a beginning work, isn't it? I mean the idea is less than a hundred years old, unlike, say, meditation, which has been practiced and refined for thousands of years. Could you tell us what your shadowwork looks like, with examples?
Best,
David
here's the correct link - zaadz is all tweaky right now so i cant fix it in the main article….
